Mr. King began his career in private legal practice specializing in corporate/commercial law. He left private practice to become corporate counsel to a national commercial real estate firm. As corporate counsel he was integrally involved in the private placement syndication of over $400 million of real estate assets as well as overseeing the legal matters for the 700-employee firm with offices in 9 cities nationwide. Mr. King has owned and managed commercial real estate brokerage and service companies in Florida since 1990 and continues to oversee the brokerage operations of his healthcare real estate company. He has executed over $700 million of real estate and M&A transactions in his 30-year career. Mr. King obtained his law degree at the University of Ottawa in 1983 and the CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate institute in 1991 and the CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 2013.
